The Values that Define Us

Our Desire:
Our desire is to build the Kingdom of God based on the values we believe are essential to authentic Christianity.  The following values guide our growth, teaching, discipleship and outreach.
The Prime Directive:
To love the Lord our God with all out heart, soul, mind and strength;  and to love our neighbor as ourselves. Luke 10:27  
Values that Empower our Corporate Gatherings:
  •  Honor the Word of God as our rule for faith and practice
  • Be a Spirit-filled church where the ministry of the Holy Spirit is a priority
  • Recognize the priesthood of every believer 
  •  Practice team-oriented ministry in a Biblical Eldership
  • Model body ministry 
  • Be a community of authentic worship
  • To fulfill the Great Commission
  • See every believer equipped to find and fulfill their unique destiny in God
  • Facilitate large corporate and small group meetings
Values that Empower Our Relationships:
  • See every person as having unique value and a divine destiny
  • To value transparent relationships above positions, programs and agendas
  • To model New Testament forgiveness
  • Speak the truth in love
  • Invest our lives in one another
Values that Empower Our Personal lives:
  • Be passionate for God, His church, and His kingdom
  • Live Christ-centered, disciplined lives that clearly express the Lordship of Jesus
  • Value authority and seek to live lives of mutual submission
  • Value marriage and raise our children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord
  • Have a servant's heart
  • Realize each person has the priveledge and responsibility to reach the lost
Values that Power Our View of the World:
  • To be a missional church that empowers every believer to reach their world
  • Engage the community for influence and impact on the moral fabric
  • Every person has eternal value, therefore God expects His Church to treat everyone with a certain level of love and respect
  • Meet the social needs of people where and when we can
  • Remember the poor
  • To be actively engaged in world missions both corporately and individually
